Robert L. Parish, Jr., President – A native Dallas-site who served as a Senior Human Resource Executive for over 25 years at three Fortune 500 corporations. He is currently the owner of Parish and Associates, a human resource consulting firm. He owns Carousel Concessions Inc., which does special events planning and operates concession booths at the State Fair of Texas and the Texas Motor Speedway. He serves as the Board President.
Donald R. Parish, Sr., Founder – currently serves as Pastor of the True Lee Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3907 Bertrand Street, Dallas, Texas. He has served in this position since August 1992. Prior to becoming Pastor he was a special assistant to his Pastor and biological father, the late Rev. Robert L. Parish, Sr. Under Pastor Donald Parish’s leadership the True Lee Congregation has established an outreach ministry of hope to carry God’s word to those who are incarcerated in the Dallas County jail system and those in the Beto Prison at Tennessee Colony, Texas. Consequently, a non-profit organization, “Hope Restoration” was established, with the purpose of helping to restore hope in the lives of people.
Deborah Parish, Executive Director – Deborah Parish, a native Dallasite, has volunteered and worked in the Non Profit Sector for over 10 years. Her non profit work experience is with the American Cancer Society and a Reading Readiness Program for 3 and 4 year olds. Deborah has developed several collaborative partnerships that will assist Hope Restoration and its mission. Deborah has several years experience in Accounting and has a BBA from Southern Methodist University. She previously served as Assistant Secretary.
Portia Tucker, Treasurer – is a retired Career and Technology teacher from the Dallas Independent School District. She worked with pregnant and parenting teens. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Education and a M.A. degree in Elementary Education. She worked for several years during the summer with economically challenged youth in a job readiness and job development program. She grew up in the South Dallas/Fair Park area and is a stakeholder in the community. She currently serves as Board Treasurer.
Felecia Clayborne, Assistant Treasurer – serves as secretary to the Pastor of True Lee Missionary Baptist Church with previous experience as a professional secretary in the medical and corporate field. She serves as Assistant Treasurer.
Arnita Arbuckle, Secretary – is a Software Support Specialist and Trainer with a certification in systems administration. She has worked with corporations and law firms as a software consultant/trainer for more than 15 years and has worked in the South Dallas area donation her time and experience to help others excel in technology. She grew up in the South Dallas area where she currently serves as the Board Secretary.
